In this page you can find all the necessary informations about the purchasing of high quality photographic prints.

 NOTE  All the purchased prints can be destinated to private use only (such as home or workplace furnishing). If you like to use pictures commercially, please contact the Author detailing the kind of use you plan to do.
 
 
1. HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER
Here are the steps to complete the purchasing procedure:
  1. enter a reportage, then enter a gallery within the selected reportage;

  2. click on a thumbnail within a gallery to enlarge the relative picture, then click on the cart icon to enter the online order form;

  3. fill in the online module with print size, paper type (matte or gloss), and declaring the final use of the selected picture (private or business, see the note at the end of this section); then fill in the data about the delivery address and the invoice details;

  4. complete the payment with a bank money transfer, as depicted in the following point 9 of this page.
 
 NOTE  About the final use of the purchased print, by declaring "Private" customers will be cleared to exhibit the print only within private locations (for example, private homeplaces, locations not available to the public, etc.). On the other hand, by declaring "Business" customers will be free to exhibit the print also in public locations, such as shop points, professional studios, offices, art galleries, etc. The use of the prints for advertizing purposes is anyway strictly forbidden.
 
2. PHOTOGRAPHIC PAPER
Pictures are printed using Lambda printing technology on Kodak™ Endura professional photographic paper, available in gloss or matte version. This paper sports very hiqh technical levels of quality, and is currently used for museum archive purposes, having a declared duration of not less than 60 years.
 
3. SET-UPS
Print fees as shown in this page on the following point 4 do not include set-up fees with frames; on specific request by the customer it is available a light frame set-up on several rigid supports (kapamount, PVC, Forex, Gatorfoam, Aluminum, Acrilic) with an anti-aging coating and bordering. Please contact the Author for details about material and their prices.
 
4. PRICES
Prices as shown here do not include setup, printing and postal delivering fees. Prices are VAT not included.

Note: the panoramic 6x17 photographic format allows very high quality prints in terms of details, colors and contrasts. In fact, if you need to enlarge about 10 times a standard 24x36 mm negative to have a 20x30 cm print, but you only need to enlarge a panoramic 6x17 cm negative just 2 times to get a similar size print!this way, film grain remains far below the visibility level, thus allowing high levels of detail and a great overall quality of the image, impossible to reach under normal circumstances with smaller formats, both traditional and digital.
 
 
5. LIMITED WARRANTY
Every single operating system, and every single monitor visualize images with subtle differences among them in terms of colors and contrasts. This way, it is possible that the photographic print you're going to receive is not perfectly matching with the corresponding image you can see in the web site, on your own monitor. Although the adoption of the most advanced technologies for cromatic calibration and photographic printing, we cannot guarantee the perfect matching between the monitor image and the printed picture.

Anyway, overall quality and cromatic matching of our printing system is by far better than every traditional print system.

By purchasing a photographic print, you have the full warranty of replacement in case of defective material (if the defect is present at the time of the postal delivery because of a bad handling by the courier). Replacement will be arranged only after the return of the defective product. Please contact the Author to arrange a return procedure.

Author's responsibility doesn't cover damages by the customer after the delivery; all photographic prints are sensitive to the UV light, unless special coatings (not included in the prices shown in this page at point 4) are provided at the printing time, so avoid to expose prints to direct sunlight. Damages caused by the sunlight are not covered by the return warranty.

The return warranty is limited to a timeframe of 24 months, counting from the date of the postal delivery, as stated by the european laws about commercial transactions (art. 2 D.L. 24/2002).
 
6. COPYRIGHTS
By purchasing a photographic print, a customer neither is not entitled to handle the image copyrights, nor can use the print for commercial and non-commercial purposes. Use of purchased prints is allowed for mere personal and private purposes. Prints cannot neither be included into pubblications (both online and offline), exhibitions, collections, anthologies, nor reproduced both integrally and partially without the written express permission by the Author.

All the prints are hand signed by the Author.
 
7. MORE THAN MEETS THE EYES
Images published on this web site are just a little part of the entire personal archive of the Author; if you like to find a picture about a particular theme which is not available on the web site, please contact the Author.
 
8. DELIVERY TIMINGS
Delivery times for Countries within the European Union are not larger than 10 working days. Order processing will be started only when the payment receipt is received. For Countries outside the European Union please contact the Author to extimate the delivery time. We are not responsible for delays in delivery, please consider the different postal services in different Countries.
 
9. WAYS OF PAYMENT
To arrange a payment, it is necessary to proceed for a bank money transfer using the following coordinates:

10. POSTAL DELIVERY
Postal delivery will be accomplished using the normal surface mail service (where available) able to give a track number to the customer. Fee for postal delivey is included in the print cost. If you need to arrange a different method of postal delivery, such as national or international express courier, please contact the Author before placing the order. The photographic print will be sent enclosed within a proper rigid package.
